What fees can be added to a porta potty quote?
A porta potty quote has one delivery-and-pickup charge based on distance, plus sales tax where it applies. A same-day fee of $75 applies only to same-day orders, and extra service visits are $45 per unit. There is no fuel surcharge and no card fee.
| Charge | Amount | When it applies |
|---|---|---|
| Delivery and pickup | $45–$95 | Once per order, by distance from our Dothan yard. Covers drop-off and pickup. |
| Same-day delivery | $75 | Orders placed for delivery the same day. |
| Extra service visit | $45 per unit | Any visit beyond the included weekly service, or mid-event service. |
| Renewal (28-day rentals) | Unit rate only | Every 28 days until you call for pickup. No delivery charge on renewals. |
| Fuel surcharge | None | Not charged. |
| Card processing fee | None | Not charged. |
| Trip fee | Equal to delivery charge | Only when the driver cannot place the unit: locked gate, blocked spot, no access. |
What sets the price of a porta potty rental?
Five things set the price of a porta potty rental: distance from our Dothan yard, unit type, rental length, how often the unit is serviced, and how many units you order. Holiday weekends and same-day orders can cost more because delivery slots are limited.
- Location: Dothan and nearby towns are in the lowest delivery tier; Troy, Andalusia and Bainbridge are in the highest.
- Unit type: standard, deluxe flushing, ADA, hand wash or trailer.
- Dates: weekend event flat rate or 28-day cycles.
- Servicing: weekly is included on 28-day rentals; extra visits are added per visit.
- Quantity: one delivery charge covers every unit on the same order and address.
How does monthly porta potty billing work?
Monthly porta potty billing runs on 28-day cycles that start on the delivery date. The first cycle includes the delivery-and-pickup charge; later cycles bill the unit rate only. The rental renews automatically until you call for pickup, and returning a unit early carries no penalty.
Example: a unit delivered on March 2 renews on March 30, April 27 and so on. Call before the renewal date to stop billing. Pickup is scheduled within 1–2 business days of your call.
What do real Dothan quotes look like?
A real Dothan quote lists the unit, the delivery and pickup charge, any same-day fee and sales tax as separate lines, with one total. These three examples use starting prices for common orders: a backyard birthday, a two-month house site and a farm wedding with a bar.
Backyard birthday, 40 guests
1 standard event unit $175 + delivery and pickup in Dothan $45 = $220 + tax.
Dropped Friday, picked up Monday.
House site, crew of 8, 2 months
1 standard unit $165 + delivery and pickup $45 for the first 28 days, then $165 for the second = $375 + tax total.
Weekly service included both cycles.
Farm wedding, 100 guests, bar
4 deluxe flushing units at $275 + 1 hand wash station $125 + delivery $95 = $1,320 + tax.
Or a 2-stall trailer from $1,295 + delivery.

More price questions
Is the porta potty price per unit or for the whole order?
Unit prices are per unit. The delivery-and-pickup charge is per order, so two units at the same address share one delivery charge.
Do you charge a deposit?
There is no separate deposit. The order is paid by card when you book, and business accounts can be invoiced after the first order.
Is tax included in the price?
Sales tax is added on the quote where it applies. Churches, schools and other tax-exempt groups can send an exemption certificate before billing.
Why do some companies quote less and then charge more?
Some quotes leave out delivery, fuel or card fees. Ask any company for the out-the-door total; ours lists every charge before you pay.
Do you offer discounts for multiple units or long rentals?
Larger orders and long-term accounts are priced on the quote. Ask dispatch about pricing for several units or several sites.
