What do people in Marianna rent porta potties for?

In Marianna, most porta potty orders come from three places: hurricane season, Florida Caverns and Chipola College, and I-10 corridor projects. Each one needs a different unit mix, placement and service schedule. The notes below give the setup that works for each.

Hurricane season

Hurricane Michael in October 2018 damaged or destroyed more than 80 percent of Marianna's homes and businesses. Before a named storm we can pick up or secure units, and after one we send units for recovery crews and families without water.

Florida Caverns and Chipola College

Florida Caverns State Park sits about 2 miles north of town, and Chipola College brings campus events and construction.

I-10 corridor projects

Road and warehouse work near I-10 runs long contracts. Weekly service is included; extra visits cover 10-hour shifts.

Which Marianna neighborhoods and areas do you serve?

Every part of Marianna gets the same portable toilet rental terms, whether the unit goes to Downtown Marianna, Compass Lake in the Hills or out near Chipola River. Tell dispatch the nearest cross street or a GPS pin, and note any gate code, soft ground or low limbs on the way in.

• Green Meadows
• Compass Lake in the Hills
• Crosswater Ranches
• Merritt's Mill Pond

Which unit fits a Marianna rental?

Most Marianna orders call for standard units with weekly service for crews or standard units plus an ADA unit and hand wash stations for public events. Any unit except a trailer works without water or power. Measure the gate first: a standard unit needs 48 inches, an ADA unit needs a drive-through path.

• Standard porta potty
• Deluxe flushing unit
• ADA wheelchair-accessible unit
• Hand wash station
• Restroom trailer

Permits and placement in Marianna

Most Marianna rentals sit on private land and need no permit at all. Ask Marianna City Hall before placing a unit on a street or public lot, and ask Jackson County about county right-of-way. Event organizers should confirm restroom counts with the permit office.

Across the state line, Florida county and city offices set their own event rules. Ask the event office whether your permit lists a restroom count, and send dispatch that number. County contact: Jackson County official website.
